Women for Women’s Right for Freedom - our fundraising campaign supports the work of Happy Children Home orphanage and the education of the girls living there in Kathmandu.

My dream is to someday climb to the Mount Everest base camp," said Mia-Maria in 2022 during a retreat in Nepal. That's where the idea started... We made it our collective dream. At the same time, we saw the fate of Nepalese children. Very few children can afford to go to school and get an education, and thereby a job. In addition to our own dream, we wanted to make the dreams of the children in this small orphanage possible as well. Their dream is not the latest iPhone. They hope that every day they will have food and be able to go to school. That is the greatest dream of these little children. I personally visited the place in the fall of 2023. The joy and light that shone from these children was so heartwarming. They have nothing, but they have each other. Together, we can make a future possible for these children. We believe that education is the key to escaping marginalization and poverty. We want to give these little children a glimmer of hope for a better future.
